25 BOOK GOAL COMPLETED 8/23/2011!
23. Conquering Your Quarterlife Crisis. This was the sequel to the first quarterlife crisis book I read about a month or two ago. This update/sequel was kinda cool, because it used a lot of the same people/stories, just what happened to them 3 or 4 years later. It’s still not totally relevant since it’s from 2004, but it is still worth reading. It was great for me since there were a few stories in there about physical therapy and medical students who changed their minds about their careers.
24. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: FINALLY I’M DONE WITH THE SERIES! The last book was definitely the most mysterious/exciting, which was nice. The epilogue was ridiculous, but I know why she did it. I just need to see the last two movies, and then I never need to do anything HP related again lol.
25. On My Own Two Feet: This was similar to my favorite personal finance book Get a Financial Life, which we had to read in our high school econ class, which I never really did, but I ended up reading around the time I graduated from college. This particular book is targeted specifically at women, which is an interesting perspective, but there are some tips for everyone. Some of it I glossed over (so maybe it doesn’t count as reading the whole book? lol), as it had no relevance to me…aka how to get out of credit card debt, since I’ve never been in credit card debt in my life (knock on wood).
25 book goal done…30 book goal will be done soon-ish I hope. I would love to read 50 but I don’t think that’s realistic…maybe I’ll shoot for 40.
